Peste nivelul primar trec si vor trece foarte putini, si aici ma refer inclusiv la premianti, la posesorii de diplome de master sau doctorate. E aproape in firea lucrurilor sa fie asa, desi nu e normal sa-i fortezi pe copii sa intre intr-un sistem concentrationar, unde li se va distruge orice respect de sine, unde vor fi prostiti sistematic pana nu vor mai sti nici macar sa socoteasca si sa citeasca, iar la final sa le dai un examen pe care oricum nu au cum sa-l treaca. Insa fiecare criza a educatiei constituie o buna oportunitate pentru introducerea de noi metode mai bizare, mai ticaloase si mai subtile de distrugere a tinerilor. Saptamana trecuta am avut prilejul sa stau de vorba cu o educatoare din Viena, care mi-a povestit doua dintre cele mai noi tehnici de predare, impuse, bineinteles, de la centru, practic adoptate din manualele de “spalare pe creier” americane, la randul lor inspirate din scoala germana a secolului 19. Prima dintre ele se refera la deprinderea cititului de catre cei mici. Directiva ministeriala le recomanda profesorilor sa treaca de la invatarea pe baza alfabetului la invatarea cuvintelor intregi. Metoda a fost propusa prima oara de Friedrich Gedike, un discipol al lui Rousseau, dar nu a dat rezultatele scontate, ba dimpotriva, in pofida unor succese in primii doi ani. Ma rog, nu tara, ci tot felul de grupuri si grupari pentru care educatia publica reprezinta cea mai comoda forma de control social. “Generally, more highly educated people, who have higher incomes, consume more resources than poorly educated people, who tend to have lower incomes. In this case, more education increases the threat to sustainability.” (Agenda 21 a ONU)
Cat priveste partea cu educatia pentru toti, presupozitia general acceptata astazi este ca in fiecare copil zace un Mozart, Newton, Shakespeare care abia asteapta sa fie descoperit. In fapt, ceea ce releva experienta istorica este ca doar un numar foarte redus de indivizi sunt capabili, de exemplu, sa citeasca o carte si nu ma refer aici la silabisire sau la urmarirea firului epic. Pur si simplu, a intelege semnificatia personajelor, perspectiva autorului, ceea ce a vrut si ceea ce nu a spus un scriitor sunt lucruri foarte dificil de inteles, desi toata intelepciunea moderna ne indeamna sa credem ca nu exista ceva mai simplu. Asa ca singura sansa pentru insanatosirea educatiei o reprezinta libertatea, adica transferul total al responsabilitatii catre parinti. Nu cred ca foarte multi oameni isi pun problema daca e natural sa obligi fiecare copil sa mearga la scoala timp de aproape 10 ani. Experienta arata ca majoritatea lor va folosi mai departe doar cele cateva lucruri elementare deprinse in clasele primare: aritmetica, scriere si citire. Atat si nimic mai mult. Daca le vor insusi si pe astea… Ma rog, unii vor ramane cu cativa prieteni si cunostinte, dar asta nu are legatura propriu-zisa cu scoala.
