Nu si in cazul asta....iar pentru asta exista mai multe motive. Primul argument este economic. Un numar atat de mare de televiziuni dedicat strict informatiilor nu se poate justifica prin prisma criteriilor de eficienta. Bugetele de publicitate in scadere nu acopera costurile foarte mari de operare ale acestor intreprinderi. Ca atare, majoritatea vor functiona, aproape automat, in pierdere. Si de aici rezulta a doua problema: dependenta de banii publici. Nu imediat, ci incetul cu incetul. Campanii impreuna cu diverse ministere, pasuiri de taxe si impozite in schimbul promovarii unor figuri, programe europene, apropierea unui afacerist simpatizant al partidului X, etc. Practic, ratiunea de functionare a televiziunilor este una strict politica, iar anul electoral doar a stimulat aceasta expansiune. Obiectivitatea proclamata initial dispare in cateva secunde si ramane doar aburul sulfuros al dialecticii intre posturile puterii si cele ale opozitiei. In al treilea rand, aceasta competitie nu va spori decat gradul de isterie din tara, pentru ca in Romania nu se intampla foarte multe lucruri. In consecinta, fiecare eveniment minor, penibil, prostesc, grotesc va beneficia de spatii ample, texte ingrosate, imagini obscene, samd. Sigur ca multi se vor dedica la inceput continutului relativ serios, insa ratingurile vor pune presiune pe standardele de calitate, si asa blegi. Mai mult, prin natura meseriei de jurnalist, vom asista la o intrecere in propuneri de socialism pe scara larga. Pentru ca, dupa cum se poate observa deja, fiecare problema din Romania nu se poate rezolva decat prin conferirea mai multor puteri statului si birocratiei. Nimeni nu isi pune vreodata intrebarea daca nu tocmai statul e problema. Insa asemenea abordari nu sunt “comerciale”, nu prind si nici nu au cum. Intre doua calupuri de publicitate orice idee mai consistenta se destrama automat. Fac rating si voturi, insa, vaicareala populista si ingrijorarea ipocrita pentru soarta oamenilor. Ideea generala este de a le da indivizilor in permanenta senzatia ca au posibilitatea sa aleaga, la televizor si la urne, intre doua sau mai multe alternative (toate false). Apoi, cred ca eroarea fundamentala consta in a avea pretentia de onorabilitate si precizie din partea unui instrument in esenta malefic precum televiziunea. In cuvintele lui Malcom Muggeridge, printre altele om cu succes la publicul TV, “televiziunea nu s-a nascut sa-i faca pe oameni goli, insa s-a nascut din golul lor interior”. “Triumful televiziunii ne consfinteste condamnarea: nebunie in masa, manipularea opiniei publice, infrangerea bunului simt, distrugerea cartilor si a scolii” (Russell Kirk). Solutia nu o reprezinta reintoarcearea la doua ore de emisie si un singur post tv, ci poarta numele de privatizare a educatiei. Deoarece cu oameni analfabeti, spalati pe creier si educati doar cu valori materialiste nu vom asista decat la o cadere constanta in animalitate, in mare masura prin intermediul “micului ecran”. |




Romania va avea in curand opt televiziuni de stiri. Ar parea, spune bunul simt, ca vom avea si oameni mai informati, stiri mai bune, analize lucide, opinii pertinente, samd. Ziaristii se vor lupta sa aduca primii in casele noastre vesti cat mai proaspete, iar omul cu telecomanda va fi cel castigat. Competitia, dupa cum o stie bine pana si un copil, duce la performanta.
